The laboratory’s research directions are:

  • Physical and functional properties of oxide materials as well as their behaviour under ionizing radiation
  • Application of oxide materials as optical windows, scintillator detectors, dosimeters, etc.

Lab’s key expertise includes:

  • Passive luminescence dosimetry of external irradiation
  • Development of dosimetric materials, hardware and techniques for Optically-Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dosimetry
  • Radiation-induced processes in optical materials
  • Radiation resistance of optical and magnetic functional materials of electronic engineering and sensors
