Vinnytsia National Technical University (VNTU) — Ukrainian institution of higher education of the fourth level of accreditation, which trains specialists in the engineering and technical profile. The institution is the center of education, science and culture of the Podilsk region.
VNTU consists of 7 scientific and educational faculties, one of them is the Faculty of Power Engineering and Electromechanics with the Department of Power Plants and Systems (PPS).
Vinnytsia National Technical University is among the top five technical higher education institutions of Ukraine, which have the right to train specialists for the State Enterprise “National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom” (NAEC Energoatom), and the Department of Power Plants and Systems of the university is recognized as a leader in the training of electrical engineers.
For more than 40 years, the PPS department has been training electrical engineers for nuclear power plants not only in Ukraine, but also in the world.
A separate division of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society (UkrNS) was created at the Department of Power Plants and Systems of VNTU.
The Ukrainian Nuclear Society — is a public organization that protects the interests of specialists and scientists working in the nuclear industry. During its almost 30-year existence, UkrNS made a significant contribution to solving many scientific, industrial and social problems of the nuclear energy industry of Ukraine.
