The Ukrainian nuclear community now has even more opportunities for international cooperation. The mobility programme within the NURECAB project continues to operate, offering an excellent chance to establish your presence in the European scientific landscape. The programme provides grants to support participation in European events in the field of nuclear research, as well as activities organised within ongoing Euratom projects.

What does the programme offer?
Mobility grants support Ukrainian professionals and early-career researchers in participating in:
- international conferences and workshops,
- educational events and summer schools,
- activities within the Euratom programme,
- events organised by ongoing Euratom projects,
- initiatives and events organised by the NURECAB team.
The total budget of the programme is €31,875. Eighty percent of the budget has already been used, so there is still time and opportunity for you to take part in the NURECAB mobility programme.
The programme is open to:

🔹 lecturers from Ukrainian universities
🔹 representatives of management in nuclear sector institutions
🔹 bachelor’s and master’s students
🔹 PhD candidates

- Programme duration: until 31 July 2026
- Application deadline: 30 May 2026 or until the budget is exhausted
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, allowing participants to plan their involvement in events according to their professional goals.

The application process is transparent and straightforward:

- Prepare the required documents (CV, travel work plan, invitation letter, and letters of support).
- Complete the application form.
- Wait for the decision and receive funding.
After completing the trip, participants are required to submit a short report — ensuring that their experience contributes to the collective impact of Ukraine’s participation in European nuclear initiatives.
