FuseNet provides financial support to MSc students who wish to undertake an internship abroad in the field of fusion research. This initiative aims to improve the quality of education through the international exchange of experiences.
Students studying at FuseNet member universities, undergoing internships at FuseNet institutions or whose university is Funding MSc student internships
located in an EUROfusion member country can apply for funding.
Where can I do my internship?
The internship can take place at a research center or university involved in fusion research. There are no geographical restrictions – the internship location does not have to be in Europe.
What funding assistance is available?
Travel costs – a fixed amount depending on the distance.
Accommodation costs – depending on the duration of the internship.
Deadlines: The application must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the start of the internship and no later than 6 months after its start.
Important! The application should indicate all additional sources of funding (grants, scholarships, compensation from the host institution, funds from other EU support programs, etc.). Funding may be limited if the student has already received support from FuseNet in the past (detailed conditions in the Terms and Conditions).
