FuseNet announces a support program for MSc students, which provides the opportunity to receive funding for participation in educational events held outside their educational institutions. The purpose of this program is to facilitate student participation in master classes, summer schools and other short-term educational events of an educational nature.
Key terms of the program:
- The program supports only those events that are of an educational nature. Conferences are not funded, except in cases where the student participates in the event with his/her own contribution.
- Students studying at FuseNet member universities, or those planning to participate in educational events held at FuseNet member universities or research institutions can apply for financial support to participate in educational training related to the topic of fusion research.
- Financial support includes a fixed amount to cover travel costs (depending on the distance) and accommodation costs (depending on the duration of the event).
- The educational event must take place at a university or research institute that is a member of FuseNet or located in one of the EUROfusion member countries.
- The application for funding must be submitted no later than two weeks before the start of the event. The event must start no later than six months after the application is submitted.
How to apply? Interested students can apply for funding through the official FuseNet website. The application must be submitted before the start of the event and meet all the program requirements.
