On 10 October 2025, the 6th European Fusion Teacher Day (European Fusion Teacher Day 2025) will take place – an annual online event for science and physics teachers across Europe, organised by the FuseNet network.

The aim of the event is to familiarise secondary school teachers with the field of plasma physics and controlled nuclear fusion, to discuss methods of teaching these topics in schools, and to inspire students to engage with modern science and future energy technologies.

The event will consist of two parts:

  • National session (10:00–13:00 Kyiv time) – presentations by Ukrainian researchers on current studies in plasma physics and nuclear fusion in Ukraine.
  • European session (15:00–18:00 Kyiv time) – lectures from European experts, the presentation of new educational materials, and virtual tours of leading research facilities where scientists from many countries work together.

Participation

  • The event is free of charge and will take place entirely online via Zoom.
  • The number of participants in the Ukrainian session is limited to 100 due to technical capacity.
  • All registered participants will receive an electronic certificate of attendance for the European Fusion Teacher Day 2025.
