The 2nd NURECAB Workshop “Nuclear research and innovation: UA integration to European nuclear research area” will be held on December 3, 2024 in Kyiv in a hybrid format (online/in person) within the EU funded project “EU-UA nuclear research and education capacity building” (NURECAB, GA#101173510, Euratom, Horizon Europe).
The workshop will be devoted to strengthen integration of UA nuclear research, education and industry stakeholders to European nuclear research area.
The main idea is to exchange of experience between UA and EU nuclear education experts, research and industry representatives regarding establishment of successful international cooperation between institutions and integration to European nuclear research area.
Objectives of the workshop:
- to bring together research and innovation organisations of Ukraine to discuss with European colleagues the issues of Ukraine’s integration into the European nuclear research and innovation area and expansion of Ukraine’s international cooperation within the Euratom Research and Training Programme;
- identify obstacles to integration and propose solutions to overcome them;
- to collect opinions of the nuclear sector representatives to develop general recommendations to facilitate better integration of Ukrainian actors into the European Nuclear Research and Innovation Area and Euratom’s Research and Training Programme.
