On February 28, 2025, the National Contact Point (NCP) for the “European Research Council” (ERC) at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas organized an informational webinar titled “Results of Projects Funded Under the EU Framework Programs (ERC): Search Mechanisms and Analysis of Outcomes.”
During the webinar, Karina Shakhbazyan, Head of the NCP for “Legal and Financial Issues” and “European Research Council,” and Scientific Secretary of the Center for Intellectual Property Research and Technology Transfer of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), presented an overview of the new ERC calls for 2025 and compared them with previous funding opportunities.



Serhii Puhach, Head of the Sector for Marketing Research, Technology Transfer, and Commercialization of Scientific and Technical Developments at the National Science Center “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology” of NASU, provided insights into information platforms that facilitate the search for funded projects and analysis of their outcomes.
Tetiana Popova, Head of the Project Coordination Department at the Center for International Scientific Cooperation (CISC) of IFNTUOG and Coordinator of the NCP for the “European Research Council” under the “Legal and Financial Aspects” direction, analyzed the results of ERC-funded calls in 2024, highlighting key trends and prospects for researchers.
The speakers shared practical advice on effectively utilizing EU grant opportunities and mechanisms for securing research funding. The event demonstrated the strong interest of Ukrainian researchers in international research programs and their commitment to integrating into the European research community.
