The 4th European FUSION Teacher Day has an aim to introduce secondary school teachers across Europe to the exciting world of plasma physics and controlled fusion, to discuss the teaching of plasma physics to secondary school students, and to inspire enthusiasm for physics and fusion at the secondary level.
The event has two parts: National Session and European Session.
The National Session is a presentation of the current research in plasma physics and controlled fusion in Ukraine by representatives of the Ukrainian scientific community.
The European Session will bring to your attention the stories from European colleagues about large physical research facilities, where scientists from around the world work, and virtual tours to these facilities.
EVENT DATE – October 6, 2023
Time of the National Session: 10:00 – 13:00 (Kiyv time)
Time of the European Session: 15:00 – 18:00 (Kiyv time)
The event is free, in completely remote mode (on-line) and will be held in Zoom. The number of places for the Ukrainian part is technically limited up to 100 participants. Registration will last until October 01, 2023.
Participants will receive electronic certificates of participation in the EUROPEAN FUSION TEACHER DAY.
